The loss of 1790 and 1800 U.S. Census Reports and scarcity of other early vital records complicates genealogical research in Culpeper County. Recently, a group of researchers investigating various Turner families with connections to Culpeper County, brought together by a common interest in the Turner DNA Project, joined forces to pool their findings, to help each other in identifying their ancestors. This web site was created to display this information, and to assist researchers in analyzing the data. |
